We provide services for a minimum of 2 hours per visit up to 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, and 365 days per year. We will be there for you every day including weekends and holidays if needed.
Yes, we provide transportation for many of our clients. This is just one of many services that allow our clients to remain in their homes. Transportation is usually combined with other services. Every aide must provide a copy of their driver’s license, auto insurance, and BMV check before being considered to help you. There is a 54-cent, per mile charge if the aide uses his/her own vehicle while at work. The client may also choose for our aide to drive their vehicle, in which case there will be no mileage charge.
Once we discuss the basic needs over the telephone, we schedule a free in-home assessment to determine the level of care and the frequency. The client and/or family members make the final decision on how many hours are needed and what services he/she would like in place.
Arista Home Care offers many different levels of services. We conduct an initial in home assessment to help to determine these needs. This includes companion services such as grocery shopping, light housekeeping, running errands, and medication reminders. Up to total personal care needs including bathing, hygiene, toileting, dressing, eating and transferring.
Our services are typically covered by private pay and long term care insurance coverage if you have a policy. Veterans and spouses of deceased veterans may also qualify for VA funding through the Veterans Administration Aid and Attendance program. As an approved VetAssist provider, we help families with their VA application. Medical insurance companies (including Medicare and primary insurance providers) do not cover non-medical care services rendered at home. We do accept payment by check or electronic funds transfer.
Our basic rate is $20/hr. however this rate can be slightly lower or slightly higher depending on the complete care plan that’s developed based on the specific needs of each client. This rate is highly competitive within our local market.
I know people who only pay $15/hr. or less for these types of services, how can you say you’re rate is highly competitive?
In nearly every case, services provided at $15/hr. or less are for private-hire caregivers or referral-source caregivers who aren’t necessarily trained, nor bonded and insured to work in your home. This exposes you and your family to a much higher level of liability, not to mention workers’ compensation and taxation issues. We care about our employees and their well-being, and as required by law we pay into Social Security, submit federal, state and local payroll taxes, and pay into the state workers’ compensation program.
We perform national background checks, drug screens and DMV record checks on all our Caregivers. We also perform personal and business reference checks on all new hires.
